David Blaine's Vertigo

David Blaine's TV special; Vertigo, airs tonight on ABC at 10 pm. His "stunt" has him standing on a platform 22 inches wide 80 feet high for 35 hours. At about 10:50 pm David will jump; or has he says, "fly" onto cardboard boxes which will be their to break his fall.

My girlfriend and I went to Bryant Park yesterday to watch him get raised onto the platform. It was only exciting/enjoyable when he first went up onto the platform. After about 5 minutes of watching him being up there it got really boring, but nobody left, including myself. I actually ended up staying there for about 2 1/2 hours. I walked all around Bryant Park shooting some video and my girlfriend took some photos.

We're going back there tonight to watch him "fly". Look for us on TV. We'll most likely be up front near the fountain.
