Moby And The Nets
You're probably wondering, "What the heck does Moby have to do with the Nets?" No, Moby isn't joining the team and you won't be seeing Jason Kidd providing backing vocals. The only thing they have in common is that I purchased the new Moby cd today and won some auctions on eBay for Nets merchandise.
The Moby cd is called "18" and contains 18 tracks. I wasn't sure what to expect since the only song I've heard was "We Are All Made Of Stars". It's a good song, but I'd rather watch the video. I really enjoyed the cd, which reminded me of Moby's earlier work such as the "Everything Is Wrong" cd and also "Rare: The collected B-Sides". While I enjoyed Moby's previous album "Play", I prefer his earlier work. Either way, if you're a fan of his earlier work or what has to be the most licensed cd is history, "18" is definitely worth a listen.
I've been a Nets fan as long as I can remember. It's probably because I've been going to games ever since my Mother was pregnant with me. Well, they haven't been too good in recent years so I stopped collecting Nets merchandise. Since this year has been what some are calling "The Dream Season" I figured I better pick some up. Last week I purchased a Jason Kidd autographed 8 x 10 plaque. I also picked up some 8 x 10's of Kidd and Kenyon. Yesterday I won an auction on eBay for a Jason Kidd card. Tonight I won 4 auctions and next week should be receiving 4 more cards, this time of Van Horn, Martin, Kidd, and a Kidd / Martin card. If all goes, in two days I'll win an auction for an Upper Deck Jason Kidd Fab Floor Autographed card. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
