A Daily Dose of Nothing

I just finished watching Cruel Intentions 2 on HBO, the prequel to Cruel Intentions that starred Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Cruel Intentions 2 has to be one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time; which would explain why not many people have heard of it and it went straight-to-video.

I think the review on Amazon.com by Steve Wiecking sums it up best, "Kumble (the director) has the film spouting homilies on love and self-esteem, then randomly throws in bare breasts; it's like a horny Saved by the Bell, without the kick or pacing of good camp."

Perhaps I'll just try reading Les Liaisons Dangereuses and find out how the story was supposed to be told.
