Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven

Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven contains many exciting features, some old favourites and some new and unique to the gaming industry. The following is a short list describing the pick of the features crop in Mafia:

  • Mafia features over 12 square miles of land to explore including the big city and the countryside. Mafia has accurately simulated traffic and pedestrians placed randomly around the game areas to simulate a real live, breathing game. All 12 square miles are fictional, but have been created with great reference to authentic photos from the 1930's.

  • The game concludes after 20 action-filled missions with varied tasks from bootlegging and assassinations to shootouts and bank robberies.

  • The game not only features outdoor areas, but also over 30 incredibly detailed high-polygon count indoor locations. The City of Lost Heaven is packed with detail; take trips to the airport, banks, galleries and even restaurants plus many other attractions.

  • An epic story line conveyed through real speech dialogs and cut scenes rendered with the latest graphics technology. All of the movements of the characters in Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven has been motion-captured by the actions of professional actors.

  • Mafia features of 60 historically correct cars, each available in many different colour schemes. These cars have been based on true-life models from the 1930's. Each car has its own unique physics, the most recognisable in a game yet. With real-time car deformation, this makes for the most realistic car chase experience yet.

  • The game has over 12 unique weapons to choose from. Ranging from the Tommy gun, baseball bat and Colt 1911 to the Magnum. Sawn-off shotgun and the US Springfield Sniper rifle.
